Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, coordinating logistics, optimizing warehouse procedures, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities 

Inventory Management:

  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels, anticipate supply needs, and place orders as necessary to prevent stockouts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.

Logistics Coordinator:

  • Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling transportation and managing freight costs.
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Work closely with transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs.

Warehouse Operations:

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Streamline warehouse procedures to increase productivity and minimize errors.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure goals are met and quality standards are maintained.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of shipments.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or customer complaints related to warehouse operations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience min. 5 years in warehouse management or logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
